Purim with a Purpose

Make a Lifetime of Difference.

In 2022, we will again celebrate Purim With a Purpose by partnering with the Karsh Center. Even more exciting, we are able to come together as a community and host Purim With a Purpose family style on Sunday afternoon, March 20th, 2022 4:30pm - 6:30pm. Join us as we work together to assemble our bundles for Karsh and enjoy a delicious, catered dinner and Purim fun! RSVP Required

One of the Purim mitzvot is matanot l'evyonim (gifts to the poor), so we hope you will join us again this year in purchasing a bundle for those most in need and help us assemble everything on March 20th, 2022.

Purim is a time of "feasting and merrymaking" according to the Book of Esther (Esther 9:22), and in celebration of Purim, we often wear masks and costumes. These masks also remind us of Esther, who had to hide her Jewish identity. Over the last 21 months, we learned how to navigate the world in the time of COVID, and now we look at masks a bit differently. The face mask is a symbol of protection and safety-- ironically something that Esther was looking for as well.

Your generosity and participation will truly make a difference.
