Thank you to everyone for making this year's Purim with a Purpose a success! We made over 400 bundles of essential goods to donate to the Karsh center for families in need. Of course, we also had costumes, hamentashen and a shpiel! Check out a selection of our photos:
Make a Lifetime of Difference.
This year, we celebrate Purim With a Purpose during Religious School hours (9 a.m. - 12 p.m.) on Sunday, March 10 at our Irmas Campus and Sunday, March 17 at our Glazer Campus with a special day of service, learning, laughter, and purpose for all of our students. The focus is to teach our students a primary Purim tradition of giving tzedakah by preparing mishloach manot (gift baskets) to those in need.
During the Religious School Purim celebration, we will again partner with the Karsh Center and work to improve the lives of our underserved neighbors by creating three types of gift bundles: baby-supply bags, kitchen-essentials kits, and mother’s day–pampering baskets.
Religious School is so much more than history and holidays. Each week, we create Jewish connections and memories to last a lifetime. Your generosity can make a lifetime of difference.
